agreed. Win 8 blows. I dont want my desktop OS to look like a tablet, sorry.
Also, shutdown too difficult to find; too many steps.

Win7 is just about right, if you must have a microsoft OS. Of course OSX rocks.

I installed it on my tablet and removed it affter approx 30 minutes.
With dual boot os new system choose menu sucks..
When I boot my pc I see METRO not desktop.
And where is my beloved start menu.

Win 8 R.I.P
I will stay with win 7 and old good XP.

DAMN that was hard! lol I love windows 8, been using it since release! VERY FAST and you can bypass the tiles and go directly to the desktop with a start button.. all that "tablet" talk is old news.

I used it since release (for three+ months), very slow, with or without tiles, "downgraded" to Windows 7/Fedora dual boot, happy & working productively again
