So... I have about $1500 to spend on a decent gaming laptop but I'm not sure what I should get. I know I want Blu-Ray, 18" screen with 1920x1080, able to play crysis, unreal tournament 3, sins of a solar empire, sims 2 and also be able to watch full screen movies from places like tudou.com. I kinda like the Sony VAIO AW series but want to know if there was a laptop with a tad bit better processor.

Maybe the Gateway P-7801u. It has a 1920 by 1200 screen, and a 9800M GTS graphics card, which beats the VAIO. There's no blu-ray, but you could get an external drive.

Thats a nice laptop but I don't want to have to spend another couple hundred on a Blu-ray drive.

You can get an external blu-ray player for 130 dollars. combined, that's still under 1500$.

*update* Newegg no longer offers the model I wanted so I am leaning towards the VGN-AW190JAH.
