GM to halt production at nearly all North American assembly plants next week

News has been reporting hospitals were increasing numbers artificially for the money "FUNDING." Also search for over weight or old people have a way higher chance of dying. I was one of the few that had the virus early on in CT, USA. My 2nd job is working for the school system. A teacher and 2 kids had the virus then me. It last 7--10 days. I'm 37 by the way.

Also one of the workers claimed he had it but caught him playing football with his friends at a local public field. Many people were lying about the virus just because you get to sit home and still get a check!
Can I see your source links?

Thats funny because according to the official Australian Bureau of Statistics data not 1 person has died of the Flu since June 2020, not a single death!

So Covid19 has managed to illuminate the Flu lol
You should read more than just the headlines:

That was disproven over a year ago. And what Covid related "FUNDING?"
Are we all missing something, or where the hell did that new boogie man start?
Don't even argue with these people. They are nothing but keyboard warriors.

They don't have a PHD, not a doctor or any type of medical scientist. The only knowledge they know of is something they read from another persons reddit post...

I will agree the Media is misleading people into how bad it is. The Morning CNN vax push is annoying, but easy to ignore. Don't watch the News. But when it comes to Medical Experts around the world and them being pretty much unanimous about this being a serious issue, mainly for people poor of health. It is something to keep in mind.

I could care less if I were to get Covid, but I'd hate for my grandad to get it.

The misinformation spread around the internet is just as bad if not worse than from the media. No one is going to take a Arm Chair conspiracy theorist at their word.

Not so easy to ignore for families of dying and dead people.

Anyway, I look for sources and the only network I found that gives them is MSNBC. In fact, they not only give their sources, but they interview them. I used to channel hop for news, but I ended up staying with them for that reason. Well, except for fox "news" every once in a while. We all need some comic relief in our lives.

And?
Anecdotes are nice and all, but data is better.

Cancer, heart attacks, flu, SARS, MERS, Ebola etc...never shut anything down before. ;)
None of those is 96% +\- avoidable and survivable with a simple shot.
And dont even come close to being so easily transmissible.

You know, I still don't get the flaming panties over Ebola from back in 2014.
All of 2 people died from it. 1 from Liberia on a visit and 1 I think was a Doctor (MD) that cared for Ebola victims.

News.com au is tabloid mate. Every OPINION given in that scaremongering piece said "maybe, might, possible, potential, etc" in other words it's sensationalism journalism and has no factual basis.

And throw in, like, 20 skittles that will permanently and severely reduce the quality of your life for somewhere between 'the next few months' and 'the rest of your days'

Finally someone pointed this out as well.

Replace another 20 skittles with those that would make you more vulnerable to things you were fine before with before Covid like cold/flu, hay fever, and rhinitis.

That's more BS scaremongering, long Covid19 is just another way to try and scare the population into being vaccinated (which I have been). I have no issues with being vaccinated but I'm over all the fear driven agenda that's being heavily media driven and swallowed by droves of people.

Sure people may take time to recover but that's no different to the normal flu for some, Ross River fever, malaria etc and we don't shut down the globe over fear of catching those.

Let's not pretend it's unique to Covid.

Actually millions and millions choose not to get the flu shot (at least 2/3 to 3/4 of the population) and haven't died of the flu so what exactly is your point?
That statement is from the same type that claims a HIGH amount of flu deaths is why Covid-19 is overblown. Make up your damn minds.

🤣 My God where do you get this crap?!

Are you serious? What the hell was not based in fact?
What exactly do you think is not true about it?

It's entirety SPECULATION. What exactly do you not understand about this when you read it? It is a piece aimed to install fear in people because fear is MONEY and drives clicks.

It's not based on any hard data whatsoever, just opinion.

FOR EXAMPLE?

Ok this is the last I'll say on this but if you can't see that this article is designed to scare people into compliance I can't do much more.

Number 1. thousands "may" die (speculation, it's also possible nobody dies or the numbers are very small)
Number 2. "The latest Australian Department of Health figures showed there had been no deaths nor anyone admitted to hospital since the flu season started in April.". (Not just April 2021 but since July 2020 which was later reported. Why report April 2021? What purpose?)
Number 3. There were actually 4,124 deaths in 2019 through influenza according to official Australian Bureau of Statistics data, not the 1080 as reported. Source here https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/health/causes-death/causes-death-australia/latest-release
Number 4. "may be the calm before a very dark storm" (Again speculation, it may not be, nothing may happen)
Number 5. "We are in new territory with low numbers" (ok so no actual data to draw on. So any discussion of what may or may not happen is again speculative).
Number 6. "if people are vaccinated with Covid and are not vaccinated with the flu we will have a couple of issues,” Dr Pearce said.

“Will we have different strains? (He's got no idea. Answering his own statement with a question is again speculative)
Number 7. "we still have low disease which we are attributing to the lack of international travel, social distancing lockdown and masks.” (No kidding, keep people locked down and isolated, restricted freedoms, less chance of transmission, makes sense. Can't live like this forever).
Number 8. "The was a “rebound” in flu deaths late last decade when 1264 people died from influenza in 2017 which then dipped to 141 in 2018 before another 1000 plus fatalities in 2019" (I cannot find any data to back this up. Goes against official ABS government statistics).
Number 9. "It does appear flu, like Covid, is imported,” Professor Collignon said." (In his opinion, no evidence apart from trying to correlate flu numbers with a lack of international travel)
Number 10. "he said 2023 could be when a large outbreak of influenza sweeps Australia" (Again purely speculative, not evidence based)

There you go.

I'm done..

Wow. That was detailed. Very nice.

But we disagree on the underlying fact that all the "speculation" is based in fact. It's things that have already happened, and we look very likely to see again.

Just as an example, lots of people have already died, and I can't believe we can see that changing

The flu deaths are a good thing and something to be proud of. But our discussion is Covid-19 and I believe over 1000 Aussies have died from that this year. And not to quote a TV show, but, Winter is Coming.

"Calm before the storm?" We saw that last Spring before Delta. and here we are.

Anyway, you get what I'm saying. Speculation can still be fact driven.

One possible positive, if these lines are not operating it gives some time for the plant techs to do any repairs, refurbishing, and maintenance needed on the lines. I worked at one plant (not cars..) they were big on making sure maintenance was all kept up on (reducing unplanned downtime) but also big on keeping the production efficiency as high as possible so the maintenance windows were pretty short.
I could easily see there being some items they could use that week or two to catch up on.

That's funny, because that wasn't the only one that said those things. And I don't seem to be able to see the link you posted for me to look at that says otherwise....

"Misinformation is just a as bad"

"Vax push is annoying"

You are one confused human.
