Google has a brand new Easter egg to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Super Mario Bros. (which was technically yesterday, the 13th, but nevertheless).

To view it, simply query the term “Super Mario Bros” (or Super Mario Brothers). On the results page, you’ll see an info card on the right and a glowing question mark block like the ones featured in the game. Click it (make sure your speakers are on) and enjoy! Keep clicking away and once you reach 100 coins, you’ll get a familiar bonus.

Microsoft also has a nifty trick on its site once you grow tired of collecting coins. Simply visit its homepage and press up, up, down, down, left, right, left right then B and finally A on your keyboard… you know, the Konami code. I’ll leave the rest for you to explore.

Found is a TechSpot feature where we share clever, funny or otherwise interesting stuff from around the web.
