  1. Hi there, I am planning my first gaming PC. is there a big difference between these GPU in terms of visual effect ?

    They provide different levels of performance and how that performance translates into visuals depends on the game and it's visual settings.

    Many games won't show any difference, especially at more common resolutions. Quite a few will show a small improvement. You'll be able to turn those settings on that only make a small improvement but have a big performance impact. The higher framerates will also result in more fluid seeming motion if you have a monitor capable of displaying them (a high refresh rate).

    You're only likely to see big visual quality improvements if you're gaming at high resolution where the GTX 1060 struggles and have to have the settings turned down considerably to be reasonably smooth. Or in a few years time when the same applies at more normal resolutions.

    p.s. Unless you already own a G-sync monitor I'd go for an RX 480 over a GTX 1060.
