Have a laptop screen issue

hello i am new here and i hope i can get some help.
my mom has a toshiba laptop it is a satellite a105-s101. the problem: it has developed a pink line down the middle of the screen, and i have been to toshiba.com and other places and can't find anything. so if somebody could shed some light on this i would appreciate it!!(oh yea and my mom would to)

The LCD is broken and there is hardly anything a normal person can do to fix it.. If it's under warranty, get it replaced.
