HELP! 2 IEXPLORE.EXE running!

Hi ppl...

First i want to say that my english is poor, but i will try to make u understand what is my dout.

Well, I have 2 processes of IEXPLORE.EXE in my task manager, but i am not even using the IE. I've tryied AVG Anti-Virus, Spybot, ComboFix!

Firstly open Task Manager and close both Iexplore.exe x 2

Then download and Run CCleaner

Then download and run
CoolWebSearch
http://www.trendmicro.com/ftp/products/online-tools/cwshredder.exe

You can also try Ad-Aware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php

Also make sure your AntiVirus is always up to date

Have you restarted the PC since those two IEs appeared ?

The two IE syndrome is usually caused by one of two things :

- clicking on the IE icon again after it has already launched

- an orphaned IE process caused by something only a programmer could explain.

For the record,your HJT program is out of date,and it should be renamed to

something other than Hijack This.

I just answered the posters query as best I could.

The most common reason for the two IEs, is as I described.

Spyware is still a possibilty.

I just turn on the Computer and 2 IEXPLORE.EXE appear in the ctrl+alt+del.
