  1. System Specs:

    CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
Motherboard: DFL Corp,SLI, LP UT NF590 SLI
    RAM: DDR2 single channel, 3gb
GFX: Geforce 8800 GTS ForceWare ver. 175.16
    DirectX: 10.0
OS: VIsta Ultimate Service Pack 1
    Resolutions: 1440 x 900

Running Crysis and oblvion with fps at 40 and below when settings are set at max.

    Gears of war runs perfect.

Assassins creed cant run with full population or pc will shut down after some time.

most games i run tend to have a odd stutter where the game runs at 70 fps than drops to 1fps than back to 70fps in a few secs.

If you didn't notice Crysis at max 40 fps isnt bad for a 8800 gts and Oblivion is a high graphical game to.... you should read up on the average Pc performance for games like that and plus like vista slows games down usually by 5- 10 fps then on XP

If i had that computer, i would play crysis at 1024x768 everything on high, AAx2 and if i got 60 or more fps, i will be happy. Hell 40 is great. :)

You could try changing drivers, maybe the 8800 GtTS runs better with a older driver.
