High ping - only in games?

    Hello everyone,

    So, my problem is that I get pings of around 400ms when trying to play games online. I don't have this problem on my Laptop but got a new PC a few days ago and I have had the problem since I got that.

    Here are my speedtest results:

    I tried with both my windows firewall on and off and that didn't solve the problem. Also, I am using windows 8. Anyone have any ideas?

    What games are you trying to play?

    It might be that it's simply that your connecting to the wrong servers on your games (playing with people far away and such)
