    Recently I've found that task manager closes instantly, regedit closes instantly, nortorn freezes up, activex is saying I can't access this page when I boot up, so if some one could take a look at my log it would be much appreciated.

    Go to this post here first, and follow the instructions EXACTLY.
    How to remove Begin2Search/Coolwebsearch and Other Nasties
    Then post your new Hijackthis log-file (from the newest HJT.

    While following that post, UNinstall anything to do with these (if you can)
    C:\WINNT\kdx\KHost.exe
    C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe
    C:\Program Files\WildTangent\Apps\CDA\cdaEngine0400.dll
    [Scuba Instant Messenger] SINSTANTM.EXE
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\PSD Tools\ChannelUp.exe
    C:\DOCUME~1\ALLUSE~1.WIN\APPLIC~1\Pribi\Pribi.exe

    Most other stuff to remove will be mentioned in that post.
