How can I make my laptop faster for gaming?

i just bought an asus from best buy and it is pretty fast and plays games like left 4 dead and css pretty good... but i was wondering if i couldadd anything to make it any faster. the graphics card is good but not great and i know theres no way to replace it...... thanks in advance for the suggestions...

There nothing you can do for that laptop to make it faster other than buying an even "newer" model.

Should be plenty fast as is, but not much you can do hardware wise.
Software wise, I would make sure all unnecessary services are disabled, and that there are no unnecessary programs running in the background.

yeah i have an amazing pc that gets around 180 fps... i was looking for a laptop to play games with on the go and i think this one will do it.... the only thing is the graphics card i think i wuda payed another 100$ to get the nvidia 9800 gs...
