Ok so here goes:

I'm planning on building a new computer. (so please go easy first time adventure)
I will be using a GIGABYTE GA-MA78G-DS3H AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
with a AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.1GHz 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM2 89W Dual-Core Processor
and considering ram memory G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

When going to the G.Skill Manufacture page it specifies intel MO's but does not include the Gigabyte AMD compatible MB's. Can anyone shed light on this as I'm thinking the memory should be compatible but am not completely sure. Can you tell me if the listed ram memory will work on my AMD configuration?
