How much influence does RAM have in gaming?

Guys,as title says who have better performance in gaming
1.16GB DDR3 1333mhz OR
2.8GB DDR 1600mhz
Does performance depend on cas latency??
which have more important cas or mhz or Bandwidth of GB????????
What I found on net is a "TOTAL WAR" of this topic.

Neither are VERY important. You're not likely to see any sort of performance difference between 8 and 16GB at all, unless you're doing some pretty heavy multitasking. As far as Mhz or CAS, the results will be negligible, and you likely won't notice a difference. Don't loose any sleep over it mate

If you're gaming with a dedicated graphics card, the difference is negligible. It's another story with integrated graphics though.
