In Southern Arizona, Northern Mexico, it would be $265 to a stranger or $375 to a person who knows you. Theft is a major consideration. If you give them the original Windows XP Pro disk and sticker, add $84 to that.
Your mileage will vary depending on where you live.

Very little. I read these threads with reluctance, because they rarely end with the original poster feeling good. There really isn't anything that is a selling point on what you list outside of Windows. A retail version of a full install will cost you ~$200USD, so if you actually give them the install disk with it you can then probably expect $300-350 for that. If they don't get to physically own that copy of windows, I would expect less than $150 for it.

Moore's Law is seriously in effect in these situations. The fact the the used machine is older and the price/performance of newer machines keeps increasing, it makes for almost no re-sale market for PC's. Why would you spend $200-$300 for a used, older machine when you can get a new one, with warranties, free tech support, complete disk sets, etc., for $300-$400?
