How much of a performance increase will I see with these upgrades?

    My current build is..

    Amd Athlon x2 250 3.0ghz

    4gb ram

    480w Generic psu 36a combined on 2 12v rails

    I will be going to

    Phenom x6 1090t

    12gb ram

    Corsair 750w psu with 60a on a single 12v rail.

    (my vid card is a Gtx 460, and my OS is Windows 7 64 bit)

    i mainly want to know about the cpu upgrade.Sorry about the other stuff thats not related to the forum.

    i would recommend just getting 8gb of ram but yes that is a big jump in cpu power. You will notice a difference especially in games going from a duel core to even a quad core but the 1090t is a great cpu the 1100 t is only slightly more if you want to opt for it.

    Yeah try getting more then 4gb of RAM that's usually a min requirement
