HP readies dual-core Atom netbook, the HP Mini 5103

  1. HP is one of the many companies getting ready to upgrade their netbook line with Intel's new dual-core Atom processor. Although no official announcement has been made, the folks over at NetbookNews.de have spotted a service manual for the Mini 5103 which shows the recently announced 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 as one of three processor options for the company's business class netbook offering.

  2. I don't think 1.5Ghz will be enough for a netbook -with all the garbage HP will have pre-installed.
  3. This sounds good .. with the metal body and crystal HD its good for playing HD video, Dual core CPU also.. I'm in.. just wish that the solid state drive was cheaper... which it will be by Crimbo...
  4. It's easy to get rid of the garbage. An 11-inch screen would be nice.
