Computer is better still a few lingering issues

It says I have to install Windows Service Pack 1 before I can install SP2. However, I can not install these updates because it says I don't have enough disc space. What would cause this? I have had my other laptop the same length of time and I am not having that problem on that one. This is the final step I have left. Thanks so much.

Yeah, you have hard drive space issue:
Whoever partitioned your hard drive didn't create Windows partition (C) big enough.
You can try to move some stuff from C to D but it may be not enough.
In your case I'd probably merge both partitions into one.

The issue seems to be resolved.
