I agree that the thread has gone off topic, although it should have been closed by a mod after the second comment. Besides discussing drugs and theft of TS I thought was against the rules. Bottom line is that everyone is going on the assumption that the people evicted were not coming back for their stuff. I guess the cops new this for SURE ehh? I doubt that. At any rate, unless the evicted verbally said they didn't want their stuff, or they sold it to someone. I still see it as theft.

What are you planning on doing with the server?

Anyway the server is really a piece of junk. Due to the fact that it uses SCSI drives doesn't let me install Windows 9x because it doesn't know it has HDDs. So I tried XP but it errored... No problem I'd just use Ubuntu but that too errored out. So I need to aquire a copy of 2K PRO so I can install it. Hmm guess I'll just burn a copy of my friends .

The server is pretty old too. It uses Pentium-II Slot processors. It came with one so I slapped in another... Anyway I have the SCSI raid drivers. So once I have an OS that will install I guess... Well I have no plans for it until it has an OS.

Don't burn a copy of Windows. That's piracy.

Try a good Linux distro made for servers, maybe something like Debian or Fedora.

Are you going to use this server for anything?
