Hello I had posted earlier about my PC freezing up and becoming non-responsive and was told to follow some steps for WebSearh-Removal and then repost if I still had problems. I have followed all the instructions as laid out and am still experiencing alot of issues. I am unable to browse to attach my Hijack thsi file so I have to cut it into the body of this message (below). Some of the problems I am having are:
- IE and Firefox become non-responsive very quickly after opening them..IE a bit quicker to become non-responsive than firefox.
- cannot log off normally, I have to do a warm reboot, at different times I have gotten po up windows about rundll.exe and explorer.exe closing ( the screen with the blue bar that counts down)
- a couple times McAfee has picked up sdbot.worm.gen.bj and has said it fixed it
- a couple times McAfee has pickeed up a virus that has infected my tellcom.exe file
Hopefully by telling the symptoms someone will be able to help and save me from having to flatten my C drive tonight so I can actually get some work done. Any help is greatly appreciated.
