  1. Well, first of all i thank you for reading this.. my problem is my computer won't even run dungeon keeper 2, when i execute the program, the screen just goes black and the program crashes... i installed the so-called "silver edition" which comes already patched to v1.7. i've already tried every single "tweak" i've read about, including disabling desktop composition, executing in Windows 95/98/xp compatibility mode, etc.. but i can't even get the game to run!
    My specs are as follows:

Windows vista home premium 32 bit service pack 2
Intel Core 2 processor at 1.8 Ghz
Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (integrated graphics)
    3Gb ddr2 memory
and well... i can't think of any other spec.. if you need anything else to understand my problem, please tell me, and thanks in advance!

    Hardware Accleration

Have you tried turning off hardware accleration? Have you changed your resolution to 800x600? Do those and report back.

Wel the thing is... i can't even get the game to run :S it just black-screens me and i have to close it using the task manager... if there's a way to do that without having to start the game, that would really help me, otherwise, i'm stuck on even trying to get to the main menu..
