Sometimes we need to just dive into the deep water and start swimming :)

GOOD FOR YOU!

I had no idea that reformatting would practically wipe everything clean and I found out what was taking up the disk space!!

I had a customer call yesterday and she had a Dell Dimmension 3100. Since her installation was corrupt, I offered to try the restore fromm factory image. I showed her by pressing cntrl-F11 at the Dell logo screen on boot up. Got it first try! Up came the screen "Dell PC Restore by Symantec".

I need some help, too

Hey, thanks for the help..I am going to fresh install XP tonight.
I have 3 versions of windows and only want one NEW one.
So when I put in the CD and go to Clean Install, and it asks to choose a partition should I delete all 3? Should I put it on the partition that another windows is on and it will delete that version?
Also..I have the drivers CD but it doesnt come with Internet Explorer. If I do a clean install, where will Internet Explorer come from? Without it I wont be able to go online and install it or any of the other missing drivers.
THANKS!
Nick

yes, a clean install should fix everything AND include the IE explorer you need.
