IBM launches next generation Power 7 CPU, servers

  1. IBM is set to launch its long anticipated Power 7 processor today, in hopes of keeping a competitive edge against main competitors in the Unix server business Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard.

    I could imagine just as well as a core i7 or AMD phenom II. all down to the graphics cards on that one.

    Good luck finding a version of Windows to run on it without some sort of virtualization.
