Identify ram

  1. What kind of Ram is this? It was in an older computer, but I just want to know what kind it is.

    If you download a utility call MemSet. here>
    http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/MemSet.shtml

    It will tell you all you want to know about the RAM (if you have it installed)
    If you don't then a Google search of the part number listed on the very small sticker at the left end of the RAM stick in your first pic will likely throw up a result.
    If it does not then post the info on that sticker (or attach a clearer photo) and we'll get to work on it.

    Judging by the pics, it is either, a 168-pin DIMM chip, or a 168-pin SDRAM chip.

    CPUID can also ID the ram (and other things)
