Images getting corrupted during copy process

    I am trying to copy about 17,000 Pictures (about 15GB data) from my hard disk to an external

    USB(2.0) drive for backup. However I find that some of my images are randomly getting corrupted

    during the copy process. The images are fine on the HDD but get discolored etc. on the USB drive

    copying in small chunks works perfectly

    Try disconnecting all other USB devices,and make sure you haven`t got

    anything else running on your your computer (apart from Windows,obviously).

    Failing that,small chunks it will have to be.
