    Hi,

I just removed a babylon extension from firefox, without any trouble. When I search my registry for "babylon" I get the following results:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Tracing\babylon_pagerage_RASAPI32

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Tracing\babylon_pagerage_RASMANCS

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Tracing\Babylon_RASAPI32

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Tracing\Babylon_RASMANCS

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Tracing\BabylonTC_RASAPI32

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Tracing\BabylonTC_RASMANCS

I am wary of removing them without checking first that it would be safe.

Any advice appreciated (also sorry if this isn't really malware, but I thought this was the most appropriate forum),

    thanks,

    g

If Babylon doesn't appear anywhere else on your computer, leave registry alone.

Thanks for your reply. I scanned with spybot S&D this morning and it removed them for me (flagged as malware) so they're gone anyway,

    cheers
