  1. I have a flash drive that has a folder as its icon, which i know is a trojan but then there are folders in the drive that are showing the size is 153gigs and 19.7 gigs respectively, the drive is only 16 gigs.

I uploaded a pic of what it looks like.

any idea of what this could be?

    thanks

You have an infected flash drive. And if you have been using it on your system, that will also be infeted.

For the computer: Follow the steps in the Preliminary Virus and Malware Removal thread HERE.

For the Flash Drive: Threat Removal Procedure:

    • [1]. Download Flash_Disinfector and save it to your Desktop.
[2]. After downloading, double-click on Flash_Disinfector to run it.
[3]. Just follow the prompts and continue until it begin scanning.

[4]. If asked to insert your flash drive or any removable device including USB Pen Drive and Memory Stick, please do so.
[5]. It will scan removable drives, wait for the scan to finish. Done.
