[Inactive] VIrus/Malware removal help needed

    Hi,
    I believe my husbands laptop has viruses/malware. In the past day Cleanup Antivirus has been popping up saying there's viruses and wanting us to purchase some software to remove it.

    I tried to do run the taskmanager, but it will not work. I found a posting on this site to run Hijack this so I did. For some reason, I'm unable to attach the results through the paperclip on this message or on the manage attachments below- nothing happens. My husband doesn't use this computer for anything with sensitive information.


    Any suggestions?

    If you have a problem attaching the logs, go ahead and paste them in your reply. Best to have all three logs after you follow Broni's link.

    I've had a couple of members recently tell me they had this problem.
