  1. AVG has a free download to create a bootable CD or Memory stick that runs AVG AVG on your Windows system.
    It boots into Linux:

    Upon booting, the utility will:
    Attempt to configure your Ethernet card to connect to the Internet for updates. (when using a memory key, the updates will be kept on the key.)
    Mount your Windows Volumes

    Utilities Menu
    File Manager
    Registry Editor
    Ping
    TestDisk
    PhotoRec - Recover Deleted Files

    Scan Options
    Inside Archives
    Password protected file
    Reports Archive Bombs
    Use Heuristics for Scanning.
    pup scanner
    pup2 scanner
    tracking cookie scanner
    Recognize hidden extensions
    Report documents with macros.
