Internet Problem when Installed XP Service Pack 2!

  1. Hi Guys, I have big problem with my computer. Right Now I have Windows XP Home Edition SP2, and then when I try to go online it says PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED. My LOCAL AREA CONNECTION is listed in Network Connection and it also connect as bridge connection but the Internet Explorer gives me that messege. I have Verizon DSL as my ISP. I really need your help. I am posting this problem from my Cousin's house. Please I need your help!

    If you go to start, run, type cmd, hit enter, and type "ping yahoo.com" (without the quotes), and if you get a response, it may be a hijacker attacking your computer. But if you get a timed out response, it may be your connection. Is your dsl light solid green on your dsl modem?
