ipod alternative

    okay, before I begin: I have nothing against Apple or what they are doing....

    anyways, I am looking for some kind of a mp3 player, similar to the nano, with a screen and about 2-8GB of storage. The biggest thing is that I really don't want an iPod. I don't want to hear that they are better or whatever, I just have my reasons for not wanting one. What is a good alternative? I've heard of the iRiver Clix and the Creative Zen Plus. Are these good? which one could you recommend?
