CCleaner not getting rid as much as you'd like?

It's an okay tool, however, I'd suggest a combination of Windows Disk Cleanup tool and CCleaner is best. If you need to do anymore cleaning than that, then you run the risk of damaging programs. Programs need temp files. Right when you delete a permanent temp file, the program will put it right back. So, sometimes, it's just a waste of time using a bunch of cleaning tools.

Clean your temp files once every few days, reboot your computer, and it should stay running just fine. Defrag once a month.

If you have an attitude like mine, I'd say do a backup once a week. I'd even go as far as reformatting and reinstalling once a year. Might seem a little overboard, but smart decisions are best.
