  1. Gigabyte P55-UD6
    Intel Core i7 920
    Corsair DDR3-1333 2GB RAM x2 ( 4Gb Ram )
    Palit G.Force GTX260 896MB DDR3 Sonic
    HDD - Seagate 1.5TB SATA2

    comps f**ked so thinking of buying a new computer

    it costs $1161 AUD without case, monitor, power supply just those parts
    any suggestions?

    Whether it's a good choice depends upon what you want to use it for. For gaming it's fine but if you don't game it's overkill.

    First of all that Motherboard and CPU are not compatible.
    The i7 920 is a LGA 1366 while the Mobo you posted is LGA 1156.

    If you wanna use that Mobo look at these CPU's

    If you decide to keep the i7 920 you need to look at these Mobo's

    Moving onto the Gpu you choose, if you wanna prepare for the future get an AMD 5 series card if you can find one. If you only game casually your safe sticking with the GTX260.

    do u think the price is ok though?
    and the i7 870 should be cheaper than the 920 right?
