Is Windows 7 x64 A better choice on my system?

Hi,
So I built my first pc. Here are the specs.

Antec 900 two case
4gb DDR2 ram
GTX 260 core 216
Asus P5Q SE Plus motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 3.6GHZ
OCZ GameXStream 700w PSU

Do you think I should run windows 7 x86 or x64? I heard x64 would run on it but I would like some opinions from people who know. Thanks guys.

Damn man you've been the first responder to all my topics. I've gotta buy you a house or something Also I already have disks for WIN7 x86 and x64 as well as a couple of windows XP x86 disks. Sadly I don't have any windows XP x64 disks but I heard windows XP x64 was a flop. Anyways thanks for your info.
