JS/downloader.agent

Hi ,
This is my first post and thank you for all the imformation i have already gleaned. My dad has just become a silver surfer and as luck would have it as been infected with JS/Downloader.agent . He has free AVG version which cannot repair or even place in the vault it seems.I take it from what i have already read that you will advise me to go through the 16 or so steps to try and rid the computer. I think i understand most of them but am a bit confused about uploading the reports you need. Is this what you advise

With regards to your problem, read this and go through the instructions one step at a time and you should be ok There is a link that tells you how to attach logs to your posts.
