i think he meant they're in low supply, and therefore since there a fewer shared files they are in higher demand... but i don't think that really applies to a p2p network of this size. the only problem i could see is that fewer people are using kazaa or fewer people are sharing... i don't think demand is an issue.

Well, I am using it atm and there are 3,780,268 users online, and tis early yet, so perhaps all is not that bad eh?

As I said, you can still use the application, you just can't download it from any official server anymore, and its no longer under development.

If people are still that interested in getting this application all they would need to do is just search for it on regular kazaa, I'm sure it can be found there somewhere.

I am also thinking there isn't really that much that kazaa(the real one) can do to stop people from using k++ unless they revamp the whole system.

I just googled it and came up with quite a few live links to it(just individuals still hosting copies of it) within the first few pages of results...
You can also probably ask people you know for it, many people tend to keep the installer on their machine after installing.

Indeed. The "official" download sites now seem to be expecting people to sign up for a *ahem* small fee.... which they claim makes it all legal. So, erm that's alright then....... :|

i assume you're referring to http://www.k-lite.tk/ which is what you find when you search google for kazaa lite... that company just came about to try to make money of klite's popularity. when sherman forced google to remove links to klite's homepage, this k-lite site became the first result on google.

I wasn't talking about official sites, I was refering to several sites that just happen to have klite available for download, some are just collections of p2p apps and such.

I am using klite, but for anyone using kazaa prime:rolleyes: have you checked to see if it is downloadable? I have tossed around putting the zipped version in my shared folder, but I don't know if they are "looking" for it

    Kazza lite still works

I still have my kazaa install file saved to disk and it works fine with my dial up on my xp pro system. I switched to broadband and it never connected, so i left kazaa lite installed. Installed kazaa(with ad-ware) and it forces my lite to connect. I then uninstall kazaa and its p2p program with altnet and then run pest partrol to eliminate all left over spyware. My kazaa lite works fine after that. Unfortunatly after seeing this, kazaa might find a way to beat this system.

The last version to go out was version 2.6 which i just got and installed. Its on a german website(english version) that offers 6 servers. Chose the lowband download as the highband doesnt offer any servers for some reason. It runs perfect and is downloadable RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!! http://www.chip.de/downloads/c_downloads_getfile_8944873.html?t=1094346981&v=3600& Get it, share it with friends, keep it so it doesnt become unabtainable.
