Lagging while playing any games on PC

Whenever I play any games on my pc I get hell of lag!!! I cant even play normal games like DotA or Silkroad online!! I bought this graphics card in 2008. I never used to get like this lag earlier now only I m getting lag since 5-6 months I m getting this lag I dnt know what is wrong plz some 1 help me with this problem. my direct x version is 11. direct x10 is not supported in windows 7 ultimate

I am pretty sure Win 7 ultimate can use DX10. Try installing this driver: http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/59641. Go to a custom install and chose the "clean install" option. If this doesnt work, I would recommend getting at least 1 more GB of RAM since a 64bit OS can easily take advantage of more than 3 GB.

So what happened 5-6months ago? That's a pretty low-end card and now very old, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's holding you back in games.

Maybe they deployed a patch or something. I would say get at least another GB of RAM since a 64bit OS requires more RAM.
