if you have the rj45 jack in the laptop you don't need that card
    your going the wrong way
    backup
    thats not an air card

This is confusing... Robgamer :) Are you saying that you want wireless instead of wired networking from your laptop?

If you want wireless, that is the wrong card.
If your lappy does NOT have a RJ45 networking port (unlikely, unless it's really old), then go and get it.

What is the model laptop you have? This may help.

He dosen't have a PCMCIA slot on his laptop does he? USB adapter is his only option, if he doesn't have a NIC port either
