limewire and taskmanager problems

    Can anyone help me. I was running limewire and even though I kept shutting it down, it started up of its own accord. I have now deleted it from my computer but I feel that something has hijacked my computer. I have run countless Spyware detectors and keep running Scans with Norton Antivirus and I cannot seem to pinpoint what is wrong. I alsoiseem to have a probem getting into Task manager, as I have tried all the different ways to access it, and I cannot even disable it by typing in Regedit.

    Does anyone know what I might be able to do? as Im not new to computers but I need a bit of expert advice.
