Locked HDDs on D610 & D620

I also bought a Dell D620 from a e-bay. Battery down...pay for new battery. I can enter into the bios, change settings. The password is the system password, I can't do anything, can't boot off a floppy or cd-rom, can't enter bios or F2, F8, F12.

Hi Godinflesh, i´m very interested in your post because you say you´ve been able to bypass BIOS protection, i have a latitude D620 and i tested lots of things and I haven´t been able to bypass it! Could you please explain me how did you do it?

It's been a bad day for me today, so far I've made about 3 mistakes.

Goodluck with that Dell password, personnally I say ring them, and then say where's your office, because there's about 2000 members here complaining.

Hi twinky08 regarding your Hard Disk passwords

1st step is Dell (support)
2nd is here at the above post (now changed name slightly)
3rd is wait (you've done this, but you may want to repost in the above link)
4th is re-read all posts to confirm it has not been dealt with already
5th is Ebay (strangely)
6th is elsewhere!
