Main page comments broken (Pale Moon browser)

This occurred very recently. Comments in main/front page articles are blanked out. Forum works normally.

This is merely a user agent problem. Pale Moon has three "Compatibility" user agent modes in its options. TechSpot is now broken with Pale Moon's default setting ("Firefox Compatibility"). The other two modes work fine, and also a TechSpot-only override can easily be set in PM, although I'd hope you would fix the website to deal with the default Pale Moon setting/user agent.

Ideally, user-agent sniffing should never be used by websites, but that's another story...

Interesting. This bug appeared out of nowhere on Pale Moon and was there for how long before it was fixed on its own?

Just a few days. However, a new Pale Moon version with a significant bump the in Firefox version compatibility user agent was released earlier today, so this may be related.

Or it could've been a temporarily glitch, who knows...
