  1. I just got a used Dell Precision 620 workstation/server with dual xeon 933 and 512 mb of RDRAM. Anways I installed Windows 2000 Pro on it and I want to turn it into my networks router to replace my old crappy one. Is this possible in Windows and if not does anybody know of any software that I can use???

    Thanks for the help,

that would make one great router/server for home and small office use.
go to MS website look up info for microsoft developer network
under cpu utilization enable background services
look for a good software firewall package.

Well right now I have ICS set up on the dual xeon machine and all the machines on the network connect to the internet fine but I want to find a way that I can forward a few ports to a game server on my network. Is that possible with ICS?

    Thanks
