  1. I decided today to try and play Medal of Honour Pacific Assault since it was a good game when it was relased and boredom has got the better of me.

I did not have any problems installing the game however once I starget the game up I had a compatabillity error.

    (requires following)
    Windows XP or Windows 2000
1.5 GHz Intel Pentium IV or AMD Athlon processor
    256 NM RAM
A 3D video card that fully supports DirectX 8.1 with 64 MB Video

    (Memory)
    DirectX 8.0 compatible sound card

(Here's the settings the menu tells me I have)
I operate on Windows Vista 32Bit

    CPU 789 MHz
    System Memory 1024 MB
Video Card Type NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS
    Video Memory 1.25 GB
    Pixel Shader Version 3.0
    Vertex Shader Version 3.0

I cannot understand for all reason why the game is not working as when I originally played it during its initial release I had a very poor laptop, this present model has had no problems playing Crysis, Men of War, Age of Empires 3, Armed Assault 2 and even X3.

Try installing the most recent game patch and change the compatibility mode to Windows XP.

I've left the game alone for the time being, however I will try that if I return to it, thank you very much.
