    Computer is locking up like crazy and that ^ was in my event viewer. The file is missing from the system32 folder :(

    Running AMD 6400+ Dual Core, ATI 3870, ASUS M3a Mobo, WinXP Home, 4 GB RAM, 500W PSU

    I believe that amdk8.sys is a file that you can extract from a windows xp disc. You may be able to either copy the file, or do a repair installation of windows.
