    Im planning on getting new motherboard, and processor.
    I want recommendations for intel motherboards..
    Becuase im gana get the core2duo and right now i have the 8800gt,
    im gana upgrade my motherboard so my graphics card runs better.
    oh and another thing id like to ask, in ur opinoin what would you get core quad or core duo? btw my motherboard budget is 250$

    Take a look at the reviews on www.tomshardware.com, www.anandtech.com and the gamer sites. Most are quite helpful. If your budget for both CPU and motherboard is $250, you cannot afford much. For board alone, you should do OK.

    Seemingly solid motherboard (based on the reviews and listed specifications anyway). Doesn't even break $100 with shipping ($96.57).

    If you can afford the extra couple dollars, go with a Q6600.
