And so do I.
I do as well. I do find this thread most intriguing
The glass is half full. It's the logical response.
Not becasue you are greedy or optimistic ... it makes sense.
Glass is filled with water .. not empty of or missing water ...
Filling ... until full.
Another try :
If you're filling a glass, then when the liquid level reaches the midway point, the glass is half full.
If you're emptying a glass, then when the liquid level reaches the midway point, the glass is half empty.
In school we were told that people with writing slanting upwards, were positive minded, and vice versa. Well, we all started the upward slant.
I guess it all depends on whether you are filling up the glass or drinking/pouring it out.
I would have thought the whole chicken and the egg question was the most difficult question ...
OK guys, this cup cant "spill" ok?
im going to say both the same
If you are a pessimist its half empty and if you're a optimist it's half full.
i would say half full because if something is empty its nothing there at all
Lol! Ic ant believe this has been revived...it was like my first post.
My glass is half full because everybody that sees it as half empty is usually(not always) depressed, and whats the point of being in a crappy mood all of the time
The real most difficult question is how to fully understand women. although im a glass is half full type of guy.
i agree with Edwin Phate the most difficuly Q is Women lol. (must not let gf see this thread lol).
Im a glass half full guy. live life to the full!
It depends on the glass. >.>
half full...with something u dont need or want
i would say it depends on what your drinking, if you like the drink then its half empty, if you dislike drink, then its half full
In my opinion;
- if the glass is being filled, it is half full.
- if the glass is being emptied, it is half empty
- if the glass is sitting unmolested, it is a half glass (of whatever)
edit: ravisunny came closest to my opinion but stuck with the poll. I hate polls that don't offer answers like 'both of the above' and 'neither of the above' and 'Geisha Cartman' as choices.
However, I digress, and shall now post no further in this thread.
Inconclusive application of Superlatives....... or 2 the Power of Too
Here I would argue, (as is my nature), that if you like the drink it's too empty, and if you don't it's too full.
Am I two opinionated....? LOL
I know what you mean about likes but it doesn't actually mean its half full or empty it's just that you think that because of likes or dislikes. If the glass contains exactly half the max contents it can contain it's neither so it's not the most difficult question to man.
That Was Then, This is Now..or....My how times have changed

I agree completely. But stating the obvious is not the most difficult thing in the world either.

"God of Mana", seems to want to yank everybody's chain. Moreover, he thinks he's going to establish the rules.
Now, why tell us that this is not the most important question in the world. We all know that. This approach spoils all the "fun". Why not, take a deep breath, and come up with another more "philosophical" response, worthy of the utter nonsense that this thread is. You know, let pseudo-intellectualism have it's long winded pointless say.
Historically speaking this site was considering stopping polls due, to all of the stupid ones started by God of Mana" (and others). I said we should keep them, a decision I have come to question, deeply, along the lines of, "why am I posting to this thread, am I half crazy or only half sane"?
Yey! someone agrees with me. I'm so right am i? There is one thing though, you can fill a glass with water over the rim so it will be half empty unless you block the top :haha:
Look here: http://reec.nsw.edu.au/k6/page/wa10.htm
lol thats definitely not the hardest question known to man, but yeah its pretty hard.....no its just dumb. hah. just depends on some stupid constraints really
Its half way to my next round
