And I'm sure you would oppose firing a person in all circumstances if he/she has a same sex partner?
I don't like how you're sticking words in my mouth. In all circumstances? No, of course I wouldn't give them a blanket pass to do whatever they want without fear of being terminated.
- If he/she is homosexual and is an axe murderer, I would not oppose firing them.
- If he/she is homosexual and tried to blow up the moon, I would not oppose firing them.
- If he/she is homosexual and is guilty of harassment of others either inside or outside of work, I would not oppose firing them.
- If he/she is homosexual and routinely mishandles or comes unprepared to press conferences, I would not oppose firing them.
- If he/she is homosexual and clubs my mailbox, I would not oppose firing them.
- Et cetera.
Analysis: Circumstances for firing homosexual employees and CEOs are the same as for heterosexuals: when they've broken the law. Brenden Eich broke no law, and as a matter of fact, supported a bill which BECAME a law (by majority popular vote).
Say it with me: "witch hunt."
