MSI also developing P55 mobo with next-gen SATA, USB

  1. Unsurprisingly, MSI is also developing P55 motherboards with next-generation SATA and USB connectivity. Images of MSI's unannounced P55-GD85 have surfaced on the Coolaler forums, and it looks similar to upcoming products from Asus and Gigabyte.

    Guessing the 2 SATA 6Gb are white ? Not going to do much for cable management-and how close to the blower-fan of a dual slot graphics card ? Nice to see MSI are keeping the last remaining IDE drive owners happy.
    8 Phase power ? The other 2 phases I see must be for memory then.

    The other 2 phases that you see are for processors with an onboard GPU, I believe.

    Good to see them release an Intel based board as well, and not just an AMD one.
