My soyo KT400 Dragon Ultra Platinum Edition is having probs with my ATI Radeon 8500

my Soyo KT400 is Having Probs with my ATI Radeon 8500
I have a

AMD Athlon XP 1.8ghz
Soyo KT400 Dragon Ultra Platinum
Ati Radeon 8500 64 Meg DDR

When i use any program with 3d acceleration (Counter-Strike,Quake III) it bluescreens and says

HARDWARE ERROR: CONTACT VENDOR

i already have the most updated bios and some updates for WINDOWS XP.

PLEASE HELP...

What Video drivers are you using? Have you tried another version? What changes have you made recently to the system?

i just bought the SOYO and my video card works fine. Ive tried divers and uping my BIOS but nothing Soyo told me to load optimized defaults but i doubt itll werk.
