Hey everyone! I currently have this TV:

Vizio 26" LCD HDTV
I am looking to get a nice surround sound system setup for the TV, but I am scared it might not work right. Someone once told me this TV might have problems hooking up to a home theater setup, but I recently was told it shouldn't have any problems. Well, now I am here at techspot to see if anyone can help settle the issue.
I just need a quality and affordable 5.1 surround sound setup for this TV, can anyone please recommend me something? I have looked at panasonics and samsungs and find alot of good stuff, but am still uncertain.
My room is about 14' X12', fairly small and tidy basement space.
