Need Help Choosing Replacement MBoard

My g/f's emachines motherboard died. It is an emachines t1221, here are some of its specs:

I searched through their parts section and found this replacement:

I have a few questions. Is there a cheaper replacement? What do I look for in a replacement? Like something I could go to Fry's (outpost.com) or best buy and get.

I searched ebay but since I don't know what I'm looking for [like the socket type] I'm uncertained as to what to buy.
